Weekly Invention by InventionHome.com – LEXIE LIGHTS

InventionHome announces their Invention of the Week – LEXIE LIGHTS.

Independent inventor John Sowakinas enlisted the help of InventionHome to assist him in finding marketing/licensing opportunities for his invention.

LEXIE LIGHTS is a convenient pet collar attachment that will illuminate to provide lighting in front, behind or to the side of the pet, providing a suitable and well-lighted area for better viewing capabilities. The attachment piece is designed to fit any size pet collar with snap-on retention devices. The center of the curved design rests approximately 1-inch above the collar to ensure proper function of the 360-degree swivel base on which the LED lighting system sits. The battery-operated, double LED light notes an on-off switch for ease in powering the unit. A pet owner should simply switch the power button to the ‘on’ position to then adjust the direction of the light. The swivel base will enable a user to point the light in any direction. LEXIE LIGHTS can be made available in a set of two for placement on two areas of the collar. With more than one LEXIE LIGHT attached to a collar, lighting may be directed in one or two areas simultaneously. The entire unit measures approximately 2-inches long but may be modified according to collar and pet size. The battery housing is easy to access and provides a user the ability to remove and change batteries when needed. The invention is not limited to dogs and may fit a range of collars worn by any animal.
