Weekly Invention by InventionHome.com – “Pet Ramp for Trucks”

InventionHome announces their Invention of the Week – “Pet Ramp for Trucks”

Independent inventor Harold Heartsill enlisted the help of InventionHome to assist him in finding marketing/licensing opportunities for his patented invention, “Pet Ramp for Trucks”.

Does your job require that you spend a great deal of time on the road driving a large rig or semi? Are you one of the many that would like to take your pet along for companionship but can’t get it in and out of the truck with ease? Independent inventor, Harold Heartsill came up with a solution for you!

Harold’s invention, the Pet Ramp for Trucks, is an inclined walkway that enables an animal to walk directly into the cab of a large truck. Pet Ramp for Trucks can be used by operators with physical disabilities, operators that have a pet that is too heavy to lift into the truck or even for pets with disabilities. When not in use, Pet Ramp for Trucks would fold up, become compact and rest flush against the step on the passenger side of the truck. It is easily deployed and extends parallel to the side of the truck, so it can even be utilized in a parking lot, with a vehicle nearby.

When folded, Pet Ramp for Trucks could be secured to the side of the truck by means of ropes, hooks or some other securing device. Hinges along the bottom allow the ramp to easily unfold or collapse quickly and without any sort of strain to the operator. Pet Ramp for Trucks could be affixed, in a permanent or temporary manner, to any large truck and could be attached in a matter of seconds.
