Weekly Invention by InventionHome.com – “Tree Hugger”

InventionHome and MatchProduct.com announce their Invention of the Week – “Tree Hugger”.

Independent inventor Kevin L. enlisted the help of MatchProduct.com (sister company of InventionHome) to assist him in finding marketing/licensing opportunities for his invention.

Tree Hugger is an adjustable high fiber vinyl product for creating Vertical Gardens in only seconds, without using any tools, nails, ropes or chains and without any damage to a tree, column or post you can place the TREE HUGGER™ on just about anything you can imagine.

Attempts have been made to display pots, plants and ornaments that have included ground based stands and elevated supports. Many of these stands can require assembly time and be expensive to purchase and assemble, as well as be unsightly and unattractive. In addition, such stands take up valuable ground space, which restricts use and enjoyment of backyards and gardens. For example, townhouses, and many new homes, have small backyards that do not allow for the display of many planters and pots. Thus, ground base stands are undesirable.

The Tree Hugger solves all these problems and much more. We can also use the Tree Hugger for a thousand more uses, this may sound like an exaggeration but it is not. There are an endless number of Sku’s that can placed on a Tree Hugger, not only pots & plants also our custom made bird feeders, bird baths, double table, single table, tools, lights and ornaments. Think about all the different ornaments there are for all the seasons. The Tree Hugger was engineered for Halloween and Christmas ornaments. No other device enables all of these different items to be placed not only on trees but also square concrete light polls and pilings. The Tree Hugger is also adjustable and practicable device that can fit small or large trees, column or post horizontal, vertical or anything in-between

Featured Invention by InventionHome.com – “Micro Fresh-Tea System”

InventionHome announces their Invention of the Week – Micro Fresh-Tea System

Independent inventor Steve R. enlisted the help of InventionHome to assist him in finding marketing/licensing opportunities for his invention.

Tea is the most consumed beverage in the world, outside of water, and approximately 85 percent of tea consumed in America is iced. Ease of preparation has never been a strong selling point for tea. In this nation that demands convenience, the Micro Fresh-Tea System provides a quick and easy method for preparing freshly brewed iced tea using the convenience of the very common microwave. In contrast to the more costly ready-to-drink- tea in bottles and cans, tea that is prepared in the home costs about three cents per serving. This product allows the user to quickly brew a fresh pitcher of iced tea whenever it is desired.

The Micro Fresh-Tea System is a uniquely designed pitcher that provides an "all-in-one" method to brew, serve, and store freshly brewed iced tea. This innovative product utilizes the convenience of the microwave. What makes this product unique is that one side of the pitcher is flat. By turning the pitcher to rest on its side, it is able to fit in the microwave for the brewing process. Just add fill to the indicator line with water, insert teabags and brew in the microwave. When complete, remove from microwave and set the pitcher upright. Delicious, freshly brewed iced tea prepared quickly and easily. Just add ice, sweeten to taste, and the iced tea will be ready to serve or it can be stored in the refrigerator to enjoy at a later time.

Weekly Invention by InventionHome.com – “Baby Diner”

InventionHome announces their Invention of the Week – “Baby Diner”

Independent inventor Jesse M. enlisted the help of InventionHome to assist her in finding marketing/licensing opportunities for her invention.

Baby Diner provides parents and caregivers with a convenient and effective method for securing young children’s dishes to table surfaces and high chair trays. This innovative product features a raised arm apparatus containing a disc-like structure on top and two suction cups. The suction cups can be placed on the very bottom and very top of the device. To use, parents and caregivers may secure the device to a smooth table surface or high chair tray, and then attach a smooth, non-porous dish to the top suction cup. Using this product may allow both parents and children to eat comfortably, without the fear of dishes and food being thrown or spilled.

Weekly Invention by InventionHome.com – “Egg Baker”

InventionHome announces their Invention of the Week – “Egg Baker”

Independent inventor Robert M. enlisted the help of InventionHome to assist him in finding marketing/licensing opportunities for his invention.

Many individuals desire nutritious, egg breakfasts in the morning, but honestly…who has time?! Furthermore, fried or scrambled eggs require skillets (which means extra clean-up time), and also require oil or butter to prevent sticking (which means added calories/fat).

Robert has developed and patented a device to enable users to prepare, cook, and eat eggs all without messing various pans/bowls, and also requiring no added oils or butter. The item consists of a ceramic, egg-shaped bowl with lid. It is both microwave and oven-safe. For a quick omelet, just crack 2 eggs into the bowl, whisk in desired ingredients (perhaps diced ham and shredded cheese) and pop in the microwave for about a minute and a half. When finished cooking, just eat right from the bowl. Easy, quick, and minimal clean-up.

Invention Spotlight: Board Game that Revives a Classic

It’s winter…and it’s cold outside here in southwestern Pennsylvania. This is the time of year when my children, ages 11 and 8, often root inside our game-room closet to emerge with board games galore to combat boredom on chilly evenings. Lately, their game of choice has been Chess.
Our client, Gregory Benjamin, also a fan of the game, has developed some twists to Chess and companion game, Checkers. His uber-challenging version centers on a modified game board that has strategically-placed mirrors which allow players to see only the mirror-image of their own game pieces (which are shielded from their normal line-of-sight). The kids and I can’t wait to give this game a try!

Mr. Benjamin selected
InventionHome to assist him with essential services to research and develop his invention, and he now joins approximately 3,000 fellow inventors whose products are being marketed to industry through our HotLinks service, our iShowOnline virtual tradeshow, and our (free) MatchProduct.com service.

Weekly Invention by InventionHome.com – “Skewer Holder”

InventionHome announces their Invention of the Week – “Skewer Holder”

Independent inventor Fred Sculuca enlisted the help of InventionHome to assist him in finding marketing/licensing opportunities for his patented invention.

With snow and record-cold temperatures blanketing much of the country, outdoor barbecuing might not be top-of-mind. Rest assured, BBQ season will come around again...and when it does wouldn't you love to have this clever gadget?

Skewer Holder offers an improved device for suspending skewered kabobs over a cooking surface, such as a barbeque grill, pit, open flame, or other cooking area. It eliminates the need to place the food directly onto the cooking surface, which can char the food, dirty the grill, and result in the unwanted transfer of flavors. The device also helps to avoid the risk of injury that may result from an individual holding the skewer over the flame. This product allows for full rotation of the impaled food items, therefore permitting an even and thorough cooking of the food. This device is designed to accommodate various cooking methods, such as grill/oven cooking, open pit barbequing, and fireplace cooking. Consumers will appreciate the convenience and practicality that this product provides. A variety of styles are available.
