Weekly Invention by InventionHome.com – “Turn & Clean Litter Box”

InventionHome announces their Invention of the Week – “Turn & Clean Litter Box”. Independent inventor Bryan Chin enlisted the help of InventionHome to assist him in finding marketing/licensing opportunities for his invention, “Turn & Clean Litter Box”.

Are you one of the many cat owners that dreads the task of emptying the litter box? What if you could own a litter box that stored the used litter until it was ready for proper disposal?

Independent inventor Bryan Chin felt that this was enough of an issue that he began development on just such an invention. He came up with the Turn & Clean Litter Box.

Turn & Clean Litter Box will replace the need to sift and sort through cat litter to gather soiled clumps and solid waste for removal. This dirty and smelly process can now be conveniently accomplished in a fraction of the time it would take by using a scooper. Turn & Clean Litter Box is a cylindrically shaped cat litter box that sits atop a base with a removable waste bin. The cylinder features an open portal on the front for pet entry and exit. The interior contains a grated, basket-like structure connected to the wall. This sifting basket is used to filter the litter. On the front face are two handles, which allow for easy rotation of the cylinder when turned in a clockwise direction. To clean the litter, the user would simply rotate the cylinder one full turn. During the rotation, the sifting basket rotates around the inside of the cylinder. In doing so, it passes through the litter, which remains at the bottom due to gravity. After passing through the litter, the sifting basket has filtered out the used litter clumps and solid waste while leaving the unused litter at the bottom of the cylinder. For removal of the waste from the cylinder, there is a door on the side of the cylinder, which has remained latched shut until this point. The one opened side of the sifting basket will align with the side door to facilitate removal of the waste.

Weekly Invention by InventionHome.com – “Protect-A-Pet”

InventionHome announces their Invention of the Week – “Protect-A-Pet”. Independent inventor Charles Ayscue enlisted the help of InventionHome to assist him in finding marketing/licensing opportunities for his patented invention, "Protect-A-Pet".

Do you enjoy walking your pet in the evening, but due to lack of lighting you fear for the safety of your four-legged companion?

Independent inventor, Charles Ayscue saw this as a problem, and he decided that he could fix it, so he began his work on the “Protect-A-Pet”!

The Protect-A-Pet product may be comprised of two main components: the collar worn by the animal on which there may be several rows of LED lights, and a handheld remote unit that would control these lights. The lights on the collar can be set to blink, flash and other various pulsations. A battery may be located on the clip of the collar, as well as in the remote, in order to activate the lights as desired. The owner can then adjust the lighting pattern via the remote. The collar may also have a light sensor operated circuit so it may automatically be activated when ambient light falls below a certain, predetermined level. Another option for users may include a motion detector circuit in the collar so the lights may be activated when the animal moves. The adjustable collar may be produced in a variety of colors, patterns and designs to accommodate user preferences.

Weekly Invention by InventionHome.com – “Pet Belt”

InventionHome announces their Invention of the Week – “Pet Belt”.

Independent inventor Roy Garcia enlisted the help of InventionHome to assist him in finding marketing/licensing opportunities for his invention, "Pet Belt".

Do you feel like you are fumbling with too many things when you take your dog for a walk? So much stuff and nowhere to put it! That is exactly how the Pet Belt came to be…

Independent inventor Roy Garcia decided that he wanted to provide pet owners with a specially designed utility belt that would hold a variety of items needed while on a walk. The belt fits around the waist and has two pocket-type compartments that will allow for the secure placement of an mp3 player and cell phone. Other storage compartments will hold smaller items such as keys, change, a garage door remote, and more. A small zip top bag component will hold dog treats and another can be used for waste bags. There is also a unique cup-holding component for a beverage to be placed at the waist. Each compartment can be removed and replaced along the belt, as desired. Weekly Invention by InventionHome.com – Pet Tag Holder

InventionHome announces their Invention of the Week – “Pet Product for Holding Information Article”.

Independent inventor Sue Reilly enlisted the help of InventionHome to assist her in finding marketing/licensing opportunities for her clever invention.

Sue felt that jingling, dangling pet ID tags were a nuisance to move from one collar to another, and over time the tags often became faded and illegible. Even more alarming, the tags could become detached from the collar and be lost forever. Of the approximately 10 million pets that get lost every year, a staggering ninety percent never return home due to lack of identification. Well, this was a statistic that Sue Reilly could not accept!

Pet Product for Holding Information Article is a device for holding pet ID tags. A swinging panel on the unit can open for simple attachment to collar, harness or leash, and secures the product firmly in place by Velcro or other means. This feature also enables the product to be transferred easily to another collar, leash, or harness, if necessary. The unit features a side slot through which new tags or information can be placed, as needed, eliminating the dangling and jingling. The identification information can be changed on a daily basis if need be. For example, while vacationing with ones pet, the pet owner can slide in the “vacation” contact information and upon the return home, the home contact information can be replaced. Sue has an Issued Utility Patent on her invention.

Weekly Invention by InventionHome.com – The Cat Litter Sifter

InventionHome announces their Invention of the Week – “The Cat Litter Sifter”.

Independent inventors Ronald and Linda Schmidt enlisted the help of InventionHome to assist them in finding marketing/licensing opportunities for their invention, The Cat Litter Sifter.

Are you one of the 72% of cat owners that have more than one cat? Or, are you a service provider (kennel or rescue shelter) that has multiple cats in your charge at one time? Are you tired of scooping all that litter out scoop by scoop by SCOOP???

Well, Independent inventors Ronald and Linda Schmidt have come up with a solution for you!

The Cat Litter Sifter is a two-part device featuring a retainer ring that houses a specially designed sifter. This sifter is able to separate reusable litter form waste materials in a matter of seconds, eliminating the cumbersome task of bending and scooping. In fact, The Cat Litter Sifter ensures the user will be able to clean a litter box with approximately 95 % proficiency. The Litter Sifter is easy to use, and much more sanitary than scooping out the litter one scoop at a time. The entire contents of the litter box are dumped into the sifter, which sits atop a bucket. Reusable litter goes through, waste materials don’t; they stay in the sifter for disposal. Reusable litter is put back into the litter box. As easy as 1,2,3 and no scooping involved! Ronald and Linda have an Issued Utility Patent as well as a finished sample.

Weekly Invention by InventionHome.com – “The Cat Loft”

InventionHome announces their Invention of the Week – “The Cat Loft”.

Independent inventors Amy Scatchard and Ken Palmer enlisted the help of InventionHome to assist them in finding marketing/licensing opportunities for their invention, “The Cat Loft”

Do you love the idea of your pet sleeping with you but find yourself giving up more of your own personal sleeping space to accommodate your pet’s sleeping needs or are afraid you might roll over and hurt it?

Independent inventors Amy Scatchard and Ken Palmer designed an innovative product to help solve that common problem. The Cat Loft was created to allow the owner and pet the luxury of sleeping next to each other in total comfort. The Cat Loft is an exclusive sleeping bed for the pet that simply functions as an extension of the owner’s bed. The loft is mounted by the use of a base that slides under the mattress at any point of the bed’s sides or foot. The sleek design doesn’t interfere with regular changing of bedding, and since it is off the floor, there’s no need to move it when cleaning around or under the bed. Amy and Ken have filed for a Utility Patent on their invention.
